Great location with stunning views of the lake and mountains. The gardens and indoor pool were enjoyable. A variety of options for breakfast.

B&B guests seem not to receive quite the same standard of service at breakfast in the restaurant as Half or Full Board guests.

Reception works only to 10pm, we arrived around midnight and it was difficult to get in. Hotel was fully booked due to the Easter and parking lot was not sufficient. Wifi connection is quite expensive and limited by transfered megabytes (strange in 21st century). There was no minibar in the room (not usual in 4star hotel).

The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, with wonderful views and scenery. St. Gilgen is a lovely village.

The hotel is perfectly located just across the street from the ferry that will take you to the other towns on the lake. It is also directly across from the grocery store which is very convenient. Walking down the peaceful streets is a joy. The rooms are clean and comfortable with superb lake views. Breakfast offers a plentiful selection, and the sauna and swimming pool facilities are excellent.

The restaurant can get busy during peak dining hours, making it difficult to get the attention of the staff.

The view from our room was spectacular. The owner and employes were friendly and helpful with any requests.

The location on a hill overlooking a beautiful little village was absolutely breathtaking. Not only did we get to enjoy stunning views of the surroundings, but we were also just a few minutes walk away from the center of town and the boat/steamer station. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with every member being friendly and helpful. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with a private balcony overlooking the immaculate hotel grounds and the lake. We also enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the delicious buffet breakfast. our experience at this hotel was exceptional.

We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The food was superb as was the view and surroundings. One of the most beautiful places we have ever been.

Easter weekend was an enjoyable experience with marvelous views and a perfect location for exploring the surrounding area. The nearby walking paths and bus stop provided easy opportunities to get around. The private lake swimming beach was also a great way to relax. The staff provided a welcoming atmosphere that felt like family.

While the restaurant staff was friendly, their lack of English proficiency made communication a bit difficult. the lack of air conditioning in the room made for uncomfortable nights despite the breezy nights that provided some relief.

Although it says this hotel caters to kids, we found ourselves constantly trying to restrain them from shouting, jumping, etc...I just wouldn't recommand it to families with young children.
